The Optional Document Preparation is a fee that dealers may charge the customer to cover the expense of completing the paperwork, registering the vehicle, ensuring liens are correctly recorded, and ensuring you receive your license plates. NY state limits this optional fee to $175 per transaction.

A fuel/EV charge may be applied to vehicles that have been fueled prior to delivery. This charge reflects the cost of fuel or charge added to the vehicle before pickup or delivery.
